Data deletion

You can remove a connected social media account yourself at any time, or ask us to delete your whole Flagbearer account. Here’s how, and exactly what happens.
Remove a connected account (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube)
- Open Flagbearer in Telegram and go to Profile.
- Under Social accounts, tap the account, then Remove.
This immediately deletes everything we stored about that account: its platform ID, username and display name. We never stored your password or access tokens, so there is nothing else to delete. You can also remove Flagbearer’s access on the platform itself:
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → Active → Flagbearer → Remove.
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Flagbearer → Remove.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions.
- X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.
- YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/connections.
Delete your Flagbearer account
email info@flagbearer.tech or message our support account on Telegram (or send /support to the bot) and say you want your account deleted. Include your Telegram username so we can find it. We confirm by message and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
When your account is deleted:
- Erased: your name, username, profile photo link, email, country, state and city, interests, connected social accounts, and the subjects and text of your feedback messages.
- Closed: any of your campaigns that are still running; unspent perks for them are settled first.
- Already gone: task screenshots are deleted automatically 3 days after the last decision on them, and are never kept in backups.
- Kept, without your name: your Telegram user ID (so the closed account can’t be reopened or reused for referral rewards), the perk ledger and task records (other members’ balances depend on them), the title and links of campaigns you ran (other members completed them), and our security log of admin actions.
Database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted details disappear from them within 14 days of the deletion.
